INA Conference Workshop Proposal Form - April 30 - May 3, 2020, in Montreal, Canada
All Workshop Proposals Due September 30, 2019.

Since 1985, the International Nanny Association, (INA) a non-profit educational association dedicated to improving the quality of in-home child care industry, has held an annual conference designed to increase the skills of those who faithfully serve more than 1.3 million of our nation’s families. Our association is primarily made up of nannies and newborn care specialists and those who employ, place and educate nannies. Our members gather from across the globe to learn and network with like-minded individuals, all of whom share the common goal of providing the highest level of child care. INA Conferences attract 200-250 attendees. INA workshops in 2020 will all be 90 minutes in length and are presented to a group of 25-75 attendees. Our annual conference is made up of three workshop tracks (Agency/Business, Nanny and Newborn Care Specialist). We also welcome proposals for a General Session that addresses our conference audience as a whole.

INA is a 501 C (3) non-profit organization and strives to keep conference expenses contained. As a result, workshop presenters often donate their time to the organization by sharing their expertise as a pro-bono gift, including their travel expenses. If you feel that you are not able to provide your workshop as a gift to INA, but you believe your topic is one that will enhance our conference attendees knowledge, please indicate your specific requested costs on the speaker proposal form and our workshop committees will review each request.  You may also contact Marcia Hall, INA Executive Director, and Conference Coordinator: conference@nanny.org, and she will put you in touch with the appropriate program chairperson to discuss compensation.

Your initial proposal must be received no later than September 30, 2019. If your proposal is accepted, you will be notified on or before November 1, 2019. You will then receive information regarding further steps you need to take in order to secure your workshop for our 35th Annual Conference in Montreal, Canada.  If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to contact us.  We look forward to receiving your workshop proposal.

All requested information must be completed and submitted to conference@nanny.org by September 30, 2019 to be considered. Any submissions that are incomplete will not be considered.
